Vytas Narusevicius is a Vancouver photographer who specializes in using vintage film cameras and vintage lenses with digital cameras to achieve a different way of looking at urban and natural environments. The adoption of antiquated equipment acts as a way of focusing attention and slowing down perception to help shift contemporary viewing habits into an alternate register. The objective being that careful observation can hopefully open the potential to a slight displacement of one's preconceived stance toward the world.
